The peace agreement was achieved when President Lee was making his third trip to the Philippines peace.
Mindanao is an island in the Philippines, who had suffered more than four decades, due to the dispute between Catholic and Islam. Despite the beauty of the island, Mindanao was known for his long conflict. In order to bring peace to this region, the peace activist President Archbishop Antonio J. Lee President Lee hosted the Peace Walk, with over 1,000 participants gathered. Students, members of the organization of the leaders of religious peace and walked together in the hope of peace in Mindanao. After the Walk for Peace, representatives of Islam and Catholics united to sign the peace agreement to end the war and seek peace in the world, along with peace activist President Lee.
President Lee contributed profoundly to end the conflict in Mindanao. Local National Broadcasting Station of the Philippines reported its historical and memorial achieve peace. Local Filipino showed his gratitude to President Lee to help end the conflict in Mindanao and update peace in this world.
