Peace, HWPL and 2019 World Peace Summit

Do you love peace?

Do you really want peace in this world?

Do you know that there's an organization in the world to achieve peace?

Do you know that the group is coming up with a realistic law to make peace on this world?

Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization in association with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). It transcends differences in culture, belief, and region to engage leaders and youth in sustainable and comprehensive solutions for peace.

Since its foundation in 2013, HWPL has grown exponentially in terms of both supporters and influence worldwide. With peace as its core value, HWPL has operated a number of campaigns and events across the globe to unite individuals from all sectors and levels within society.

Within only a few short years, HWPL has partnered with citizens and organizations from over a hundred countries in order to advocate peace on an international scale, particularly through the advocacy campaigns for an international law based on the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War(DPCW).

Through the hosting of annual events, such as the World Alliance of Religion’ Peace(WARP) Summit and the Peace Walks commemorating the Declaration of World Peace, HWPL continues to gather additional support from individuals, civil society actors, national leaders, religious leaders, and others under the common goal of a world free of war and conflict.

As more people are being awakened to this era of peace, the light of peace has continually brightened and spread like the first glimmers of dawn transforming into the full light of day. When the world unites with a single heart for peace under the values of heavenly culture that transcend divisive boundaries between communities, the flower of peace will soon bloom and peace will be left as a legacy to future generations.

HWPL Peacebuilding

On February 8, a grand peace festival entitled “We are one for Peace to attain Sustainable Development” at the Philippine Sports Stadium, Bulacan, will be held to launch nationwide peace movement throughout the country’s State Universities and Colleges.
This event is expected to have 30,000 participants including social representatives in the Philippines and international peace activists including the organizers – Volunteer Individuals for Peace (VIP) by Dr. Ronald Adamat, CHED’s Commissioner and Mr. Man Hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light), who organized this event as a peace NGO under the UN ECOSOC.

“The highlight of this peace event is to give inspiration of citizen participation in peacebuilding. Cultural performances will represent harmony under peace beyond differences in ethnicity, religion or nationality. Also, the principles of peacebuilding with civic participation and national support will be introduced – the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW),” said Mr. Ian Seo, General Director, Department of Public Relations, HWPL.
The DPCW, the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War, addresses principles of conflict resolution and international cooperation for peace building such as prohibition of use of force, peaceful dispute settlement, and spreading a culture of peace through education and citizen activism, within 10 articles and 38 clauses.

As a partnership in promoting a culture of peace between the City Government of Paranaque and HWPL, there will be an inauguration of the “PEACE ROOM” in Paranaque City Public Library where peace education materials will be exhibited to inspire daily visitors. According to organizers of this project, “peace corner and peace room will be established in different libraries nationwide to raise awareness of peacebuilding to citizens.
Last January 2018, Commissioner of Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and HWPL signed an MOU to promote peace education throughout public colleges in the country. Approved by CHED, peace education together with indigenous people education is now integrated in all Higher Education Institutions nationwide.

“Promoting peace education through the CHED will affect many Philippine educational institutions and play a crucial role in promoting peace in the Philippines,” said Dr. Adamat.

“We should think of how we can achieve peace. It should start by teaching peace to the youths,” emphasized Mr. Lee in his last visit to the Philippines. As a representative of HWPL, Mr. Lee, a Korean peace activist and Korean War veteran will visit in February to advocate global cooperation for peace building.

Do you know the peace group, IPYG?

Do you know IPYG?, an affiliated wing of HWPL with the purpose of protecting the youth of the world from war

I was touched by that there is a real way to achieve peace participating in the World Alliance of Religions for Peace Summit(WARP) in Seoul, Korea

The history of war in Korea was terrible.

We all know the pain of a divided nation and brothers pointing guns at each other's throats.

Who fights in the front line when war breaks out?

That' s the irreplaceable youth who never saw their days to truly blossom

Who then compensates for their lives sacrificed in the line of battle?

Our young men had to protect our lives ourselves.

We knew that peace was something that we had to do with our hands.

IPYG youths are here with a resolution to make peace with our hands

The events that we started out to become one mind, such as the Peace Handbook, the Peace Mural Drawing, and the Peace Walking Contest, brought together more than 4.6 million young people.

We will make real world peace from the start of peace events.

Life is the most precious thing in the world.

For this, we young people began to gather one by one to make peace a reality.

Our young men tried to make a peace law that would make the peace world a reality, and international law was finally completed.

End the war with international law.

Get rid of the conflict caused by religion and give the world of peace to young people.

Teach us peace and let our brothers grow up in the world of peace.

Tomorrow's decision to lead the future without war is our youth.

The answer to peace is our youth!

The Korean War

After liberation from Japan, one people became two countries with different ideologies.

On June 26, 1950, one ethnic war broke out.

It became a global war with many countries including the United States, the Soviet Union, and China participating.

Early on Sunday, June 25, 1950, the North Korean army crossed the 38th parallel and invaded the South.

The South Korean army continued to retreat in the sudden attack.

Four days after the war began, Seoul was taken away and the entire area except Gyeongsang Province was occupied by the North Korean military in just two months.

President.Lee called the United Nations for help.

General MacArthur made his landing in Incheon, crossed the 38th parallel, and continued to head north.

When China joined the war, Korea was deprived of Seoul.

So China and North Korea, the UN and the Republic of Korea continued to fight.

And the truce talks began in a bid to prevent further sacrifices.

The three-year war ended on July 27, 1953.

Millions of people were killed in the Korean War and all the facilities of the two Koreas, such as factories, railroads, and roads, were destroyed, becoming like the Paleolithic Age.

A peace agreement is needed to ensure that the war will no longer exist in South Korea. We must end the war.

Peaceful unification in Korea will achieve world peace

And here is the beginning of peace.

A peace international law is needed for peace to occur and They must travel around the world and make peace agreements.

Here is the messenger of peace.
