Do you satisfy?

 We live in abundant era in comparison with world 100 hundreds years ago. But we think something is not enough and we need more.

 But did you know? If you are looking this posts you are happier than 93% of the people on earth. There are still many people who live from hand to mouth.

 There are many conflicts related to greedy mind. With this mind, we can't make peace. How much you have doesn't determine your happiness or peaceful mind.

 Being Satisfied to your possession and taking care of others who doesn't have enough would bring peace in the world.

 And I think this can be summing-up by one word.  'LOVE'

Hope for warmhearted world.

  I used to participate in voluntary service which was cleaning the town, especially picking up trashes along the river. I wasn't interested in voluntary service. But I felt heavy heart whenever I see the dirty road. So I joined voluntary club and started to cleaning my town also doing other activities(such as helping disabled person). After that, I felt happy whenever I see the clean road. And took a picture of it for making a piece of good memory

 I can feel many things by doing many kinds of voluntary service. Helping someone without any purpose makes society more beautiful. We can give a happiness to someone if we use our free time as volunteering.

 Happiness is like a virus, so it can be spread to others and makes them happy. I think that this is a charm of voluntary service. For example, cleaning which was foresaid, makes not only me but also others feel fresh and happy.

 There is a Korean 'Somewhere in the world is still warm' Industrialization caused heartlessness and many of us don't think about other's mind. But, by doing small volunteerings(picking up trashes), we can make others little more happier and smile together. I hope the world become warmer and peaceful and I think we can make it by considering the others.

Buddha’s peace theory

<Siddhartha Gautama>

     Since today is the celebration of Buddha’s Day (May 6th), I want to share about the origin of Buddhism. Buddhism was started by Siddhartha Gautama, a prince of Kabila kingdom, about 3,500 years ago. Back then, the ancient society was formed by caste system. Siddhartha has seen lots of unfair situations such as rankism, rich-poor gap, and corruption. He questioned himself what is the true happiness in life? How can people be free from suffering and find eternal happiness? Even though he was a prince, he was just a human who also wondered about the way to live in peace like us. He tried to find the answers and left home. He began to practice his asceticism and became Buddha, meaning "awakened one" or "the enlightened one." Gautama taught a Middle Way between sensual indulgence and the severe asceticism found in the Sramana(renunciation) movement common in his region. He believed that the “emptiness” in our mind brings a true happiness because suffering started from obsession, if people want to get rid of obsession they need to get rid of their wants.

Happiness is near!

Happiness is .. : D

Happiness is not something big
It is about the things that make you happy, things that make you smile
You don't need money for happiness. All the things are for free. Like hugging, smiling, sleeping and meeting friends that you care. There are many things that I can make for myself. There is plenty of things around me. I just have to look carefully and change my mind!
