IWPG hosted launching ceremonies of ‘the HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee’

March 23rd and April 2nd, the IWPG hosted launching ceremonies of ‘the HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee’ in Fiji and India respectfully.



At the launching ceremony held in India, 50 members who represent women's groups, youth groups, and the media were present including Nachiket Anil Dave, Lawyer of the Supreme Court of India, Amit Kumar Singh, Founder of LexDelhi and Praveen Roy, Principal of Samsara The World Academy.
Equipped with a full understanding of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War and the role of ‘the HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee’ (full name: HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee for the Implementation of the International Law on the Cessation of War and Achievement of World Peace), the committee members at the event shared notable cases of peace campaigns and future plans of the Committee.
Nachiket Anil Dave, a lawyer of the Supreme Court of India remarked, "On 14th March, 2016 — A historic Declaration that will protect humanity, the Law of Peace [has been] proclaimed... And so now is the time to implement this Declaration to achieve the object of World Peace...."
The event was covered as major news by PTC Network. ‘The HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee’ is set to grow further with planned launching ceremonies in Hyderabad and Mumbai.
