IWPG launched the HWPL Peace Advocacy Committees
April 12 and April 15, the IWPG launched the HWPL Peace Advocacy Committees in Tirana, Albania and Buluan in Maguindanao, the Philippines.
The launching ceremonies highlighted the significance of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War, and members discussed the role of the Committee and ways to better promote the Declaration in respective regions.
The HWPL Peace Advocacy Committees in Tirana and Buluan each announced plans to introduce the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War to public offices and educational institutes, promote the Declaration through the media, and bring feasible results by monitoring progress on a weekly basis.

HWPL Chairman to hold Peace Talks





HWPL Peace Delegation’s peace tour in Philippines has been proceeding for eight full days, reaching its curtain call today on January 29. HWPL Chairman Man Hee Lee and the peace delegation had peace talks with Mayor Ronnel Rivera of General Santos City at the Green Leaf Hotel. "The Mindanao Peace Agreement which was concluded in General Santos City was the starting point of all peace works in Mindanao," said Chairman Lee, asking for the future cooperation to bring out a bigger wave of peace in General Santos.
Being appointed as an HWPL Publicity Ambassador, Mayor Ronnel Rivera promised to cooperate in the peace movements in the local communities.
Also the Peace Delegation met Mr. Manny Pacquiao, the world-renowned Filipino world champion professional boxer. Also a member of the Philippine House of Representatives in Sarangani province, Mr. Pacquiao invited the HWPL Peace Delegation to his house. After the meeting, he has promised to cooperate for justice and peace in the Philippines as an HWPL Publicity Ambassador.
Meanwhile, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) has launched the HWPL National Committee on Peace in IBP and celebrated a signboard hanging ceremony. The launching ceremony took place at the South Cotabato Gymnasium with more than 200 representative attorneys of each IBP branch. The IBP has appointed Chairman Lee and IWPG Chairwoman Nam Hee Kim as advisers of the committee and HWPL has appointed 9 Board of Governors and 84 representatives of the IBP branches as the HWPL Publicity Ambassadors.
Jose I. De La Rama, JR, the Governor for Central Luzon, who became the head of the board of HWPL National Committee on Peace in IBP, announced the committee's future action plan to the audience by urging to support the implementation of an International Convention on the Renunciation and Cessation of War and International Armed Conflicts, HWPL’s core initiative.

What happened in Mindanao?: the Peace Treaty of Islam and Catholic brought peace to Mindanao island


     Mindanao Island in the Philippines was full of the atmosphere of the festival due to peace agreements made which was hugely contributed by peace advocate Man Hee Lee
The new era has opened for Philippines Mindanao island which had suffered for civil war between rebels and government troops. This news was broadcast by Philippine National broadcaster and many other international medias.

     The population of Philippines Mindanao Island is approximately 20 million. It was the place where Muslim original lived in  Philippines , but during the colonial period of the United States ,  Filipinos who believe in Christianity migrated to this island. It was the start of religious conflict between Christian and Muslims since the beginning of 1970 to 21st century, until a Korean peace advocate Man Hee Lee put an end to this tragic civic war.

     Peace activist Man Hee Lee led representatives of both parties, from Islam and Catholic to establish a peace agreement, whom was the leading role of resolving the 40 years long conflicts.

     Archbishop Fernando R. Capalla, the representative of Catholic of that region and Islamic leader Esmael G. Mangudadatu brought termination of conflict in Mindanao through the work of Chairman Man Hee Lee.
       The next day the representative led a peace agreement , (MILF) has finally agreed to a peace agreement Moro Islamic Liberation Front is the Islamic movement of the maximum of the southern Philippines Mindanao and the Philippine government , the dispute for four decades now had come to an end.

     Philippine National broadcast special interview with Chairman Lee in order to deliver this incredible news to all over the Philippines. Philippines broadcaster ABC said, " the Philippines people would be grateful " Philippines CBN news broadcast about the importance of the peace agreement which organized by Chairman Lee.

     I think that there is no doubt that the peace agreement in the Philippines this is a thing that enhanced the reputation of South Korea. The whole world is surprised it is a matter of course. Ramos Philippines former President.

     Our hope is the unification of two Koreas.
As the Peace Treaty made between two different parties, Catholic and Islam, I personally desire the day when representatives of the north and south of our country to agree to a peace agreement so we can meet our siblings living on the other place.
