Hope everyday like Olympic day.

 

 Olympic is world sports festival and many people gather together from diverse country. And we can see a flag with 5 rings of different color.

Baron Pierrede Coubertin designed this symbol and it was first used at 1920 Belgium Antwerp Olympic. It looks like a shape of alphabet 'W' which is the first letter of 'World'.

 Each ring means 5 continent. Blue is Europe, Yellow is Asia, Black is Africa, Green is Oceania and the Red is America. It is connected together It means unity of 5 continent by Olympic event.

 I sometimes think of 1988 Seoul Olympic. It was long time ago but the title song 'Hand in hand' made all people impressed deep in heart.

During the period of Olympic, all people put down their conflict and unite together and enjoy the time of being one. Olympic is held once a 4 years. But I want the world think of others just like when the Olympic is going on.

The Declaration of World Peace

    On May 25th, 2013, at Seoul Olympic Park, Man Hee Lee declared World Peace to everyone and announced what we must do in order to achieve peace. 

     In the beginning, he mentioned that the universe is created by the creator and we are gifted with light, rain, and air and yet people are provoking one another and break wars which take the lives of the youth. It’s a big tragedy that young lives are wasted for the war. Why would the youths have to be the sacrifice for the war? People must not leave this legacy to future generations! He continued that there is no way of compensating the dead lives. Once they’re dead, there is no way to make them live again. Then he declared: 

   First, the heads of every country should sign an international agreement-a commitment to bring wars to an end.

    Second, the youths must be united and pursue peace by agreeing not to fight one another. If young people put effort and pursue peace, it will eventually end all wars. 

    Third, every person: men, women, and children no matter what position they are, should work for world peace. 

     Lastly, media should promote a message of peace to the world.
