Religious leaders discuss world peace

The third World Alliance for Religions Peace (WARP) meeting was recently held in Lagos, Nigeria under the theme “Peace Reflected on the Concept of Good and Evil in the Scriptures.”

The alliance of religious leaders is working towards the cessation of wars and world peace as coordinated by the Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL).

He traveled around the world eighteen times stating that we should achieve the unity of religions for the cessation of wars because the cause of wars comes from the differences of religions.

Transform the world into a better place

Up to this day, genocide, ecocide and colonization are being existed.


It is an indisputable fact that peace should become a realization.


But for this peace, the International community's cooperation is emphasized and our utmost patience and effort are required.


As promise to concede each other and to solve the problem we can resolve a conflict
after which we can also transform the world into a better place.

Do you satisfy?

 We live in abundant era in comparison with world 100 hundreds years ago. But we think something is not enough and we need more. 

 But did you know? If you are looking this posts you are happier than 93% of the people on earth. There are still many people who live from hand to mouth.

 There are many conflicts related to greedy mind. With this mind, we can't make peace. How much you have doesn't determine your happiness or peaceful mind. 

 Being Satisfied to your possession and taking care of others who doesn't have enough would bring peace in the world. 

 And I think this can be summing-up by one word.  'LOVE'

 Olympic is world sports festival and many people gather together from diverse country. And we can see a flag with 5 rings of different color.

Baron Pierrede Coubertin designed this symbol and it was first used at 1920 Belgium Antwerp Olympic. It looks like a shape of alphabet 'W' which is the first letter of 'World'.

 Each ring means 5 continent. Blue is Europe, Yellow is Asia, Black is Africa, Green is Oceania and the Red is America. It is connected together It means unity of 5 continent by Olympic event.

 I sometimes think of 1988 Seoul Olympic. It was long time ago but the title song 'Hand in hand' made all people impressed deep in heart.

During the period of Olympic, all people put down their conflict and unite together and enjoy the time of being one. Olympic is held once a 4 years. But I want the world think of others just like when the Olympic is going on.

Social Enterprise

 

 There are many kinds of company in the world. Most of them seek for their own profit and some are only works for the society which is called NGO.And there are another kind of company here. It is called Social Enterprise.

 

 There are two purpose of Social Enterprise. First one is their profit, same to ordinary companies. Second one, is social purpose.

 

 Then what do they do for social purpose? Main purpose is to provide jobs to vulnerable social group such as intellectual and developmental disabilities.

 

 I saw a social enterprise on TV that is making a toy for young kids. They makes toys with eco-friendly material. So, kids are safe from diseases that can be infected by putting it in their mouth. Parents feel safe because kids tend to take anything into their mouth which can be dangerous if the 'anything' can harm them.

 

 Just like social Enterprise, we need to provide love that is needed to restore the peaceful world. To give something material others is 'minus' for me but giving from heart is 'plus' for everybody. Let's give our heart to someone who want love.

It Depends on you

     Even the strongest man in the world, or the weakest Grandma, how can we make them move? It may look difficult, but actually very simple. To make a person move what you need is a 'word'. Simple isn't it? But let's think like this. If you ask someone to do something will it be that easy to make the person move? Actually "No" would be the answer. What we need most is the mind and heart to do something. If you have that or make someone have it, that is when you can make that person move. The willing to do something. This can change the world. Even oneself.

     In this video clip, you can meet Jim Wolf, who is a Army Veteran of the United States. He although was homeless but in the end he had the will to change his life. So first of all, his appearance changed, and then his heart. But we should know that the people who has the will can change anything that they want. Not only oneself but also others as well. Look at the great change that is transformation made to this person. Not only the appearance you can change you and the world too. This is the key to make peace and to bring it to the world.

Strong will can overcome anything!

 

 

 Have you read the book 'The Whole Body Dissatisfaction' written by Ototake Hirotada?

It's a story about a Japanese man who was born with disease that is called congenital limb amputation(born without limb).

 

 Let's imagine a life without arms and legs. How of think of it? It might be very uncomfortable. You can't use spoon or fork while you are eating. You can't move without wheelchair and also you can't use smart phone with fingers. Even we feel uncomfortable while we are wearing a cast. So we can feel how uncomfortable it is when we can't use our arms and legs.

  Ototake graduated from the Waseda university in japan and he is now teaching at elementary school. And he is living a happy life than any others. What made him to overcome the big obstacle?

 It is will. There is a quote 'The shape of world changes by your will.' We can make anything if we have enough will to do that. Environment is not important. It depends on your mind and heart. Maybe you can also hear someone's story who overcome poverty including many difficulties and achieve success in life.

 

 Peace is same with this. If we have a will to make it real, we can fully achieve this dreamlike word. We can say peace easily but we always think it is hard to accomplish.

 

 Trust your will. Power of will is strong enough to achieve peace. And if we gather together the power will be doubled.

For the world without war!

     Some days ago, I was talking with my friend. He was from another country. To learn Korean he came to Korea, and was talking in Korean. To speak another language is not easy, so to speak in that way, it was very interesting. But he told me another story that made me more interesting. One day when he was talking to a Korean friend, all of a sudden, the topic became ‘Historic’. Because he was from Mongolia, Genghis Khan became the subject. With all the talking about war and the victory that he made, suddenly they were talking about the war in this century. And the words started to start with “What if.” My friend told me that the most interesting question was, “What if we meet in the century of Genghis Khan? Do you think we still could be friends?” Well, because my friend and his friend are friends now, but could have that happened in the past? Frankly I think no. Because of no communication and also the desire to get much more lands, “No” is my answer. There could have been some, but not common. So if we meet even our friends in a different era, the friendship and everything could have been a total different story. How sad to think of it! The people who fought for their countries could have been friends if it was today!

     Still the world that we live in has war. But to make a place that we can live in peace is the assignment that we need to solve in this generation. Would you perfer to have many friend around the world, or to fight with them? Let us not repeat the mistakes that our forefathers made. By doing this, we can make a better world. Of course a world that is more closer to peace.
