HWPL has started a global signature campaign
HWPL has started a global signature campaign against war, said the group in a press statement.
The HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee has held numerous events in April world over including in Europe, Asia and Africa to introduce an online and offline signing campaign for implementation of an international law against any kind of war or aggression.
“Supporting actions for ‘The Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War’ have its beginning all around the world” and the declaration has received the support of '70,000 global citizens from 135 countries in one month', the HWPL said.
There are actions from over 130 countries to support the declaration, which was proclaimed in Republic of Korea on March 14 to bring all wars to an end and achieve peace in the world.
“The opening ceremonies were held all over the Middle East from Palestine to Yemen and Iraq,” the press statement said, adding that 'about 1,810 youths gathered for the signing campaign in Yemen's capital Sanaa, to promote this campaign and peace movement'.
“The HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee would gain 1,200,000 supportive signatures for the declaration due in May. Already 110 countries have joined online campaign until now and it is expected that more and more people from all over the world would join in this peace movement,” it said.

| March 23rd and April 2nd, the IWPG hosted launching ceremonies of ‘the HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee’ in Fiji and India respectfully.
At the launching ceremony held in India, 50 members who represent women's groups, youth groups, and the media were present including Nachiket Anil Dave, Lawyer of the Supreme Court of India, Amit Kumar Singh, Founder of LexDelhi and Praveen Roy, Principal of Samsara The World Academy.
Equipped with a full understanding of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War and the role of ‘the HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee’ (full name: HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee for the Implementation of the International Law on the Cessation of War and Achievement of World Peace), the committee members at the event shared notable cases of peace campaigns and future plans of the Committee.
Nachiket Anil Dave, a lawyer of the Supreme Court of India remarked, "On 14th March, 2016 — A historic Declaration that will protect humanity, the Law of Peace [has been] proclaimed... And so now is the time to implement this Declaration to achieve the object of World Peace...."
The event was covered as major news by PTC Network. ‘The HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee’ is set to grow further with planned launching ceremonies in Hyderabad and Mumbai.

The new year’s initiation urging for enactment of an international convention peace agreement signed by 500 national and international women leader's .
The international women’s peace group held 2016 network peace forum on January 19, 2016 at the peace training Institute in Gyeonggi-do where 500 women leaders participated for discussion on the role of women in the implementation of the international law for the cessation of war and achievement of world peace.
At this forum, participants expressed their strong support for heavenly culture world peace, restoration of light Initiative for enactment of an international convention on cessation of wars and achievement of world peace (hereafter international convention) at this timely moment in which terrorism is occurring in many parts of the world and North Korea’s nuclear testing is threatening peace.
They also agreed to play the role in monitoring and urging their government bodies to enact this law for each nation once the first draft for international convention is finalized .....

April 12 and April 15, the IWPG launched the HWPL Peace Advocacy Committees in Tirana, Albania and Buluan in Maguindanao, the Philippines.
The launching ceremonies highlighted the significance of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War, and members discussed the role of the Committee and ways to better promote the Declaration in respective regions.
The HWPL Peace Advocacy Committees in Tirana and Buluan each announced plans to introduce the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War to public offices and educational institutes, promote the Declaration through the media, and bring feasible results by monitoring progress on a weekly basis.

Koordinator pelaksana dari HWPL, Teresa Kim menjelaskan dialog lintas agama ini adalah upaya yang dilakukan HWPL untuk mewujudkan perdamaian antara ummat beragama.
"Tujuan utama organisasi HWPL adalah menghentikan perang untuk mewujudkan perdamaian, salah satunya melalui pemahaman agama" jelas Teresa.
Dialog lintas agama ini diharapkan memberikan dampak positif kepada ummat beragama untuk saling menghormati, menjaga dan memahi sehingga terwujud masyarakat dunia yang damai.
Hasil dialog lintas agama langsung dipublikasikan dalam sebuah jurnal dan artikel melalui media HWPL yang berpusat di Korea Selatan.
Dialog dihadirkan tokoh agama yang terdiri atas agama Budha, Konghucu, Katholik, Kristen, Islam dan Hindu.
"Kita fokus pada agama karena pada dasarnya setiap agama mengajarkan kebaikan dan perdamaian namun dengan cara yang berbeda sehingga kita ingin pertemukan hal tersebut," jelas Teresa.
